I wish I could say the same for the fireworks - which a few years ago got much bigger and cheaper, and us city dwellers suffered months (really!) of nightly bomb blasts, even in the wee small hours.

Hey - you've got _me_ bah humbugging too...!Editor Theoristhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05523719768353591396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14474631.post-51239455311827072552006-10-30T11:30:00.000-05:002006-10-30T11:30:00.000-05:00While they sleep the deep, comforting sleep of the...While they sleep the deep, comforting sleep of the weary and content child, I will steal their candy.

...unless Mom's gotten to it first.

Ah, great minds, and all that. We shamelessly take a chocolate tax from the tykes. Our effort's worth something, no? And they might as well learn to hate taxation early on.

Just make sure to take the good stuff.P_Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16130988618277500381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14474631.post-28613609272732579392006-10-30T10:22:00.000-05:002006-10-30T10:22:00.000-05:00...unless Mom's gotten to it first....unless Mom's gotten to it first.KCFleminghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00124201866124646626noreply@blogger.com
