Southpaw week at Sippican Cottage, I see...How do northpaws even play the guitar?
How old is this? Looks like early '60s, and I swear I think I saw Rod Serling in the audience.
Hi Sam- Thanks for reading and commenting. It's 1966. Good year for American automobiles. Hi Dr. Bob- I get on these little jags and can't help myself.
Well, a mid-60s Jag is a pretty sweet ride, too.
Jeez. At first I thought it was shot in Europe. I figured only only mid-60's Europeans would be hip enough to book Rush and square enough to sit all proper and polite like that.Meanwhile, Otis was sweating!!Wonder what model his piggyback Fender rig was. . . .
That's a Fender Bassman, isn't it?
I failed to take the precautions you recommended. I secured the earbuds well into my ears an selected a rather low volume. At 0:21, the dog at my feet started pawing the air in his sleep, woke up and looked at me with deep watery eyes. At 0:48, the wife came out of the bedroom and asked me if everything was OK and looked at me with deep watery eyes. That's power. Powerful stuff that music....-Gray
Sipp, could be a Bassman rig; couldn't make out the name on the faceplate. By the mid-60's Fender made several amp models in piggyback configuration, so could be a "Showman" or "Concert" or another model amp rig as well.
