Little Known Fact: When I Was Little I Went To Private School

I have flat feet, and my father was a banker. I went to school every day carrying my books in a briefcase like this one, after my father had worn it out, and wearing wing-tip shoes, because a cobbler could put wedges in the heels.

I have never again been as cool as I was when I was ten years old.

Ah yes.... I had this case. It took a licking and kept on ticking for over ten years of hard slamming daily use. Then.... well.... sorry to say (Nope, NOT sorry to say) I completely lost track of it.

I thought the next line was going to be: "my mother smelled of elderberry."

Sorry to bring your sainted mother through this, my friend. Couldn't resist the easy joke.

This video is a good example of why I like your blog...

When I was little, I loved it when our class got to go on field trips. Besides getting out of school, going where people were actually making stuff was always red-letter. I learned so much more watching assembly lines than I ever did sitting in assembly.
Sometimes we even got free samples.

As far as I know, you don't give out free stuff, but the yucks are priceless.
