Fairly Sure I Used To Play With This Drummer

And his brother the drummer. And his friends the drummers. And another guy that looked like him that was a drummer. And seven other guys that don't look anything like him but pretty much are his doppelgangers. They were all drummers, too.

Until the bizarre gardening accidents, of course.

At least he kept his teeth in.

That boy was laid-back enough for the Grateful Dead!

Thanks for reminding me - I had totally forgotten, but our drummer did that exact same thing at a gig in '66. Some memories are best left unremembered.

As long as there's still sex and drugs, then......

"Mommy, when I grow up, I want to be a drummer!"
"Oh, honey, you can't do both."

@Sam - As a retired Deadhead, check out the ridiculous time signatures Hart and Kreutzman played. Brubeck would have been impressed. They (and bassist Phil Lesh) are serious students - and professors now - of music. It was the audience that was laid back.

I was in a few of those GD audiences. "Laid Back" is a rather generous description.

Not to flog a dead subject, band, and joke, but for Sam L.: http://www.whitegum.com/rhythm.htm
