Thanks for reminding me - I had totally forgotten, but our drummer did that exact same thing at a gig in '66. Some memories are best left unremembered.

Brubeck would have been impressed. They (and bassist Phil Lesh) are serious students - and professors now - of music. It was the audience that was laid back.
I was in a few of those GD audiences. "Laid Back" is a rather generous description.
