Interesting - it looks familiar, but so incredibly different as well. Life had a different pace when horses were still the main means of transportation. I wonder if it's even possible to imagine? Look at all those buildings, and think of how many horse-drawn carriages it took to get the materials there. If something happened to destroy all our technological advances, it would take a long, long time to get us back to their standard of living. We don't have the know-how no more.
I always thought all those black and white people moved around a whole lot faster. If this film was possible in 1901, why did we have to look at all those stupid films clips in fast motion? Inquiring minds want to know.
I love your blog.Leslie in Az
Hi Julie- Love to see your smiling face(s)Hi William- Wasn't it an elegant video? I watched it a dozen times or more. It's taken the same year that my house was built. It's the year Queen Victoria kicked the pail. I find that time period fascinating. Hi Leslie- Thanks for reading and for your kind words.
That's not Belfast 1901 people, IT'S BOSTON 2021! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa!
(Actually, I was screaming because if that's our future, I will have to fork over some serious cash for nicer clothes.)
