Death Valley - Old Skool

Unlike any such thing made nowadays, it's heavy on info and light on preachiness.

Thanks for reminding me of the kind of stuff I was shown in grade school. Truly a contrast with today, and fascinating.

On another note, I've been trying to send you email without success for a couple of weeks. Are you feeling a bit isolated, or is it just me?

What an odd accent the narrator has - far-in-height, fun-tastic, and so on.

I have spent plenty of time in Death Valley, summer and winter. I used to mountain bike all over it. I really liked the petroglyphs.

That film, made today, would preach that because it reaches 130 degrees there, global warming is about to kill us all. Then, well, that was just summer in DV.

Hi Rob- That's (disturbing) news to me. I don't see you in my spam folder either.

Expanding on Rob's comment, I can visualize my 4th grade teacher fiddling with the projector as the sound garbles and the film tries to escape the sprockets. Thanks for the memories.

Maybe so. Sounds a lot like the way I talk.
