Not knowing who Andy Partridge was, I just clicked on good faith. What an entertaining and informative 9+ minutes! Many Thanks.

Good faith rewarded on my blog. A first!

You've got to admire a man who can play like Hendrix but prefers the Monkees. I remember an interview in which Partridge said they were a big influence on his musical development. I can totally hear Mickey Dolenz singing Mayor of Simpleton or Peter Pumpkinhead.

Keep 'em coming, please. I've been an XTC/Dukes fan for half of my life, and this was a treat.

Hi G Bob- You probably noticed that the impresario that launched the Monkees, Don Kirshner, passed away recently. We're getting old.

Hi Bigby- I wrote about my affection for XTC here.
