I'm guessing thats where the term "he's a real trooper" comes from - but I could be wrong. ;)

I've dealt with the police various times. This video makes sense to the palpable relief I've noticed when I treat them with respect (nah - never got special treatment. But then, I wouldn't want it).

Situations like this makes cleaning septic systems seem more appealing.

There are speed traps in Maine, y'know. Saw one on 302 in Windham today: Cop lurking in the undergrowth, just after the speed limit arbitrarily plunged from 50 to 35. That's not law enforcement in any respectable sense. It's extortion.
