In The Spring A Young Man's Fancy Lightly Turns To Thoughts Of The Marimba Ponies

Knowledge comes, but wisdom lingers, and I linger on the shore,
And the individual withers, and the world is more and more.

I play percussion, and this was AWESOME. Oh, if only I could get my kids to do that. . .

The beginning is a bit mechanical, but it progresses okay. Still, I get the sense that there is some serious coercion going on to get those children to play as they do - seriously, they look like automatons. Maybe that is just my jaundiced eye, or maybe I remember seeing Lionel Hampton play - his fluidity was astounding.

Not to flog those players too much - they are just doing what they are told to do.
